Øya present Norwegian bands at SXSW

On Friday 16^th of March The Øya festival and Music Export Norway present three Norwegian bands as part of Filter Magazine’s program at  South By Southwest (SXSW) in Austin, Texas. Philco Fiction, Razika and Team We will perform for music lovers, media and industry people from almost the entire globe. This will be an excellent opportunity for the three Norwegian bands.

Filter Magazine’s Showdown at Cedar Street is a three-day event at the world’s largest festval for new music. SXSW is perhaps the most important showcase for aspiring artists. At the same stage as the three Norwegian bands, you can also see Kaizer Chiefs, Keane, Built To Spill, Band Of Skulls, Of Monsters and Men and Ed Sheeran during SXSW.

The event is supported by the Norwegian Embassy in Washington and Consulate General in Houston.
