KÅRE & THE CAVEMEN
Wednesday
The albums ‘Jet Age’ (1997) and ‘A Long Days Flight Till Tomorrow’ (1999) gave them a far larger audience than their first vinyl singles, and soon, Kåre & The Cavemen became the most talked-about rock act in Norway. Throughout the 90s, the K & C members were also in bands like Turbonegro, Kwyet Kings, Cavebones, Anal Babes, Gluecifer, Yum Yums and many more. As time passed, the band went through a few line-up changes, and they eventually took the name Euroboys (which up to then had been their international name). Album production and live performances continued, but quite a few missed the original Kåre & The Cavemen. Now, the line-up from the breakthrough years will once again come together for one last show at the Øya Festival. We can promise you an amazing display of rock’n’roll fireworks of which we haven’t seen the likes in ten years. Get down to the Medieval Park to say goodbye to one of the greatest Norwegian rock phenomena from the past twenty years. This will be your first, last and only opportunity to see Kåre & The Cavemen live.
