Inspired by Balkan music, jungle, dubstep, Arabian music, Greek rebetika, French prog rock and lo-fi, Center of the Universe have understandably created their own sound, and even though the band changes their sound on every album, their music is still easily recognizable. C.O.U. was formed in 1998 by Sissyfus, who gave himself deadline of ten years to achieve cult status on the Norwegian music scene.

The stated on-stage times on Club Night are approximate. Admission to Club Night concerts on Tuesday August 11 is free for festival visitors who hold a 4-day Festival Pass. Many venues fill up rather quickly, so if there’s an act you simply MUST see, being there early would be a good idea. At most venues, concert goers who do not hold a Festival Pass will have to pay an entrance fee. We encourage you to travel around the city, see a lot of shows, visit places you haven’t been to before and generally just have a grand ol’Club Night. Enjoy!
