Only a few months ago they played a brilliant show in front of a jam-packed Revolver. Crystal Stilts’ debut album, Alight of Night, has gotten rave reviews both here in Norway and abroad. They’re often seen as part of the so-called “Brooklyn wave” that supposedly has been the rage of 2008-09. Their music is dirty, monotonous, passive-aggressive and unpretentious. “Think Velvet Underground with Ian Curtis or Jim Reid on vocals,” said Norwegian webzine Groove.no in their review of the album.

The stated on-stage times on Club Night are approximate. Admission to Club Night concerts on Tuesday August 11 is free for festival visitors who hold a 4-day Festival Pass. Many venues fill up rather quickly, so if there’s an act you simply MUST see, being there early would be a good idea. At most venues, concert goers who do not hold a Festival Pass will have to pay an entrance fee. We encourage you to travel around the city, see a lot of shows, visit places you haven’t been to before and generally just have a grand ol’Club Night. Enjoy!
