Tassili was formed by Aissa Toby and Ketil Kielland Lund. Their material is based on the voice, instruments and folk music of Aissa. They released their debut album, Latebkish, in May this year to rave reviews. At Sound of Mu you will once again have the opportunity to stomp and clap along to the band’s Norwegian-Moroccan “camel hair jazz with Barbary groove.”
The stated on-stage times on Club Night are approximate. Admission to Club Night concerts on Tuesday August 11 is free for festival visitors who hold a 4-day Festival Pass. Many venues fill up rather quickly, so if there’s an act you simply MUST see, being there early would be a good idea. At most venues, concert goers who do not hold a Festival Pass will have to pay an entrance fee. We encourage you to travel around the city, see a lot of shows, visit places you haven’t been to before and generally just have a grand ol’Club Night. Enjoy!
